A MUSICAL PROJECT INSPIRED BY THE POETRY OF ROBERT LAX
In 1999, and while having the luxury of free time, I decided to look for texts that would motivate me to compose music.
Christian Youth library is one of the few public libraries in Thessaloniki.
There, inside a narrow drawer, a small book under the title Μύθοι (Fables) written by someone named Robert Lax, attracted my curiosity.
At that time this awkward vision came to me:
One stands alone at a small beach, away from any kind of civilization, inside the absolute darkness.
One can only hear the sounds of the calm sea, one's heart, one's breath, one's watch.
One writes a poem and places it in a bottle. This bottle ends in a library. Thousands, millions of such bottles fill the libraries.
I, now, stand in front of these bottles and pick one.
And there it is:
In A Library I Found The Story Of A Man
